MOFO extension and service · 1 October 2026

MOFO is a Chrome extension for fomo.family. This page says what it reads, what leaves your browser and what doesn't.

What stays in your browser

What goes to the MOFO service

Only when you use a feature that needs it, and only what that feature needs:

The service passes these to Anthropic (Claude, which writes the rundown and the chat answers), twitterapi.io (searches public posts on X) and a holder-data provider (token holders and wallet trading stats; it receives the token or wallet address being looked up). Rundowns and holder lookups are cached for up to 30 minutes so the same token isn't looked up twice. Daily usage counters are kept for three days. MOFO doesn't sell data, show ads or track you across sites.

THE CALL

Your own keys

If you add your own API keys in the settings, MOFO calls Claude, twitterapi.io and the holder-data provider directly with them and the MOFO service isn't used. The keys stay in this browser's extension storage; the fomo.family page can't read them.

Other requests

MOFO reads a small settings file from mindoverfomo.tools to find the service, and asks GeckoTerminal for public price history when grading your journal.
